Sharron Angle’s GingPAC Questionaire

Here is more grist for the Nevada Senate race between incumbent Democrat Harry Reid and Republican challenger Sharron Angle. Angle has completed a candidate questionaire for the conservative political action committee, Government Is Not God PAC.

Here are some highlights from Angle’s questionaire.

On abortion: believes an “unborn child” is a person under the 14th Amendment; would vote to prohibit abortion in all cases. [emphasis added].

On LGBT issues: opposes recognition of same sex marriage; opposes “sexual orientation” as a protected minority designation; opposes gay adoption.

On other social issues: favors restrictions on “pornography”; believes clergy should be allowed to express political views and endorse candidates from the pulpit; supports prayer and religious speech in schools.

On education: supports elimination of the Department of Education; opposes federally funded school based health clinics.

On the economy: opposes raising the national debt ceiling; opposes unbalanced budgets; supports reduction or elimination of capital gains tax and elimination of inheritance taxes.
