    This movement is almost inevitable, but the problem is that the oil is in Shiite and Kurdish areas. Even if the Sunnis are able to get some oil revenues there is still the possibility that the federation will fall apart and the money supply will be cut off. There is a real concern for them, any further insurgent attacks will be the perfect excuse to end the federal state; the Shiites and Kurds could secede and take the oil with them.
