Thank you for your warm welcome, kind words and comments on my first post. I hope to make honest contributions to our collective TMV ideals.
I have traveled to many countries and covered numerous United Nations Conferences, G7/G8 Summits, European Union and NATO meetings. My goal in requesting entry into TMV was to present views I cannot openly state as a reporter or analyst elsewhere. As all of you know, each media entity has limitations according to the market segment and geographical space it serves as a business. TMV offers an opportunity to cut across geographical spaces and markets in line with our individual perceptions about what being moderate might mean.
As a professional, I am left of center on issues of economic and social equality within countries and across nations. I am right of center on issues of open markets, macro economic management and international security.
In my personal life, I strive to serve the Veda’s path of unity of all life with it corollaries of social responsibility, tolerance and open-mind. The Buddha best summarized these in his advice about moderation in all things.
Welcome!
As a professional in a non-media field, I appreciate your joining as a co-blogger to provide a viewpoint that is based upon professional reporting experience.
I look forward to reading more of your views and reporting.
Welcome Brij!
A Buddha admirer. Your last paragraph could have been written by me

Toss better government judgement, common sense, and prudent spending in the mix and you’ll get an A+ from me.
Welcome.
What the hell is a Veda?
Sal, the vilage idiot, asks:
“What the hell is a Veda?”
The earliest holy texts of the Hindu religion. Originally transmitted orally from father to son. Later transcribed into Sanscrit.
The breadth of your ignorance is astouding.
