OK, but where can we find some giant carrots? Are there really carrots large enough to convince the extremists that they should give up this position:

To this end, the radical Islamists are trying to make peace impossible in the Middle East. They are also trying to make any kind of proper governance impossible in Lebanon and Gaza.&lt;b&gt; They need to own a failed State to camouflage the fact that each day they provoke more Muslim deaths than do Israelis and Americans. &lt;/b&gt;

Once you come to the realization that the radical Islamists don&#039;t WANT peace, the carrots become kind of irrelevant.  They don&#039;t like carrots, apparently...so it really doesn&#039;t matter if we offer big ones or little ones.</description>
