What a great piece of work. Thanks for the link. I left my real comments on the post on his website. I’m just glad I overcame my total lack of interest in the topic to read it. Must’ve been the intriguing headline.
Michael Grant was one of the BEST writers on the San Diego Union when I was on it. I’m actually negligent in not linking to him more. I appreciate your comments. I’m hoping that we offer some links here that aren’t typical “blogspeak” posts (something I fall into a lot by the way so I’m not excluding myself). Michael’s website is worth checking frequently because almost anything he writes is world class.
It is truly the best thing I’ve read about Coulter’s latest bout of insanity.
I concur… this response is far more powerful than the usual “there are some lines you shouldn’t cross.” That’s exactly what Ann wants us to think… that it’s a matter of political correctness, which many people (especially on the right) reflexively reject. Clearly, Ann crossed far more than the PC line with her comments.
Coulter represents the point of veiw that only a certian segment can properly feel the pain of 9/11.
Only they, those post 9/11 mindset people can know the proper brown people to blow up in response.
The 9/11 widows throw a monkey wrench into that narrative, so must be smeared and belittled.
Ann is the face of the right wing. There’s your compassionate conservitism in action. Sure the righties might say she goes too far in polite company, but in truth they pretty much agree with anything she says.
They will criticize her only if they think is advances their agenda. Ann plays her part in the mighty Wurlitzer.
Michael Grant’s article is absoloutely perfect. Joe you are correct, Grant is a great writer, and should be posted here more.

Do you have any other books out, say like on politics.? The only book I can find by you is Super-Simplified Ventriloquism on Amazon or bookfinder4you.
If you do have others I’d be very intrerested in purchasing and reading them.
I intend to do some digging in the San Diego Union morgue to read some of your articles ASAP.
Can anyone tell Ann Coulter that the entire Singapore population are Democrat financial supporters….but they will switch to republican if somebody spray paints on their cars?
