Not every great man has to run for president. Gore is great when he is being himself, and not as a national candidate packaged for mass consumption. I believe his 2000 handlers changed the essence of who he was, as they must with most presidential candidates, in order to make them palatable to voters. Its why he was so uncomfortable-he's not really a natural politician like Bill Clinton.

It took him about five years to get back on track, to who he really is. I like who he really is and believe America needs him without the packaging. If he runs, I'll vote for him, if not I'll support the cause that means so much to him. Gore of 2006 is infinitely more attractive than Gore of 2000 was. Either way, its great to see him getting the message out about a cause he's so passionate about.

Sal, your reply has a good point..which goes right back to my saying if the vote isn't honest why vote at all.

Then...Minions of Reason aka MOR@lioneagle.org said :...offered up eh.....

sounds like something, a rather politically tratiorous fellow "I thought I knew" for 35 years, James Marvin (Jim) Reynolds would say.

If Gore decided to join in the race in the next year I think he could win. He owes no power players anything, and nobody has bought him off. If he let it all hang out, and spoke exactly what he feels, I think it would sway more people than we would imagine.

First of all, we did elect Gore. We were just cheated out of it by Kathy Harris, Jeb Bush, and their criminal party. I voted for Gore against Dukakis back in the eighties. When Dukakis won the primary, I knew we had lost the presidential election to Bush.

I've read Gores books and they are great. I agree with Gore on most issues and trust him with the rest.

Unfortunately now his time has past. If he should make a comeback, great. Dennis Kucinich as his running mate would be even better.

I believe you have misframed and are improperly informed.

Not one person who I have spoken with face to face, mano a mano.

Who has heard this doesn't whole heartedly support him.
