The problem is Progressivists are scared of Sarah Palin.
If you are a product of the indoctrinated school system from the 70s to today, you cannot see truth even if it slaps you in your face. The pseudo-intelligent-self-important who elected Obama, by now know the stupidity of their act. They just are ashamed to admit.
This country never saw humiliation like the one your President submitted you and you do not even noticed, if you did, you pretended you did not.He is the laugh, the ass ever up in the air bending to everyone, and you are in lack of real education, impossible you understand this.
Your grand parents had valor, but your generation? You have no real values, you have string of drugs and immorality.A muslim is destroying your country under your nose and you defend him. Is there higher stupidity than this?

reality is Sarah Palin scares because she talks the prohibit words: God, Jesus, she put country, life and family above hipocrisies the public got used to live by. Her morality comes from the Bible, while Holywood feeds you immorality and you swallow it as truth and the way to live because it does not forces to look at yourself in honesty and admit shortcomes.
A prostitute in the street welcomes immorality but runs away from the Bible, the same is happening in this country.
Obama is selling this country and giving upper hand to muslims who are bent in destroying you and you are so imbecilizated that you do not see it.
Get off your drug of preference, enlist and defend your country.
Think communism Obama is force feeding here is good? Go live in Cuba like the locals, go live in Venezuela like the locals. Think Islam is peaceful? Go live there. There is a reason there are no Christians or Jews preaching in the plazas in Tehran, Ryadi, bahrain, Peshawar. Christians are so courageous, that you will find missionaries there, but they live low key, bringing the word of God that gives salvation to those lost souls, they risk being beheded at any second for the love of God, for obedience to what Jesus ordered from us all., while you sit here and act like a princess. Your place is in uniform defending this country, your belong to a missionary group spreading the word of God, like Jesus ordered. You are a spoiled brat born in freedom and would not be able to live under tyranny. I lived under tyranny and I tell you Obama is vile, he is a communist and your generation is the generation of shame. Unworthy of the Founding Fathers and the men of valor of the Great Generation. It is not an accident that the students of America are in dramatically lower level in science and math nowadays.
This generation walks around almost naked, the women dress like hookers, you cannot see difference in the dressing any longer. The mothers want to have a string of men in their bed and do not raise their kids. Women of age stretch their faces and dress as if they were 20, that is only in America, how ridiculous! It shows no maturity, shows no acceptance of reality, shows life not well lived.
America of old was beautiful!
But you, Generation of Shame, you killed America.

"Foreign policy can’t be managed through the politics of personality. "

That's what she does. All she has going for her is her snarky attitude and snotty personality....

And as for relying on a teleprompter, she relies on her hand!
Sarah is a hypocrite and a moron. I really hope she runs for president. It will be a comedy show every day.

Obama is the "most radical president"? The most radical president we EVER had was George W. Palin's speech was full of vague generalities and partisan snipes directed by the typical campaign speech writer's compass. Good, bad or indifferent, one can tell tha tshe certainly didn't write this. Perhaps the next time she gives a speech, she won't try to hide the fact that she was reading from notes written on her hand. Sadly, very little about this woman is genuine. One thing Obama proved in his debate with House Republicans...he is 100 times better on his feet without a teleprompter than Palin will ever be.

Why the scare quotes, Joe?

I am inspired that she is willing to be outspoken on issues of national importance, without the need to be "politically correct".

Or truthful, either.

But seriously folks...I've seldom seen or heard a more anti-American, negative politician in recent memory.
As you can probably tell from some of my comments, I am not a fan of Sarah Palin.

But PLEASE, let's refrain from question her patriotism or the patriotism of any of her supporters. As a vocal critic of the Iraq War, I used to hate it when war-supporters and Bush-supporters would question the patriotism of those in the antiwar movement, and I think it is EQUALLY unfair to question the patriotism of Palin or those in the Tea Party movement.

I personally do not believe in censoring the comments to my articles. But I want to make it VERY CLEAR right now that I DO NOT condone the attacking of other people's patriotism. If you debate someone without questioning his/her patriotism, then you have already lost the debate.

It think some very strong criticisms can be made of Sarah Palin (and I believe that I have made some of them) without resorting to ad hominem attacks of questioning her patriotism.

Tarp was created to clean up a decade of unregulated greed on wall street. Deregulation is not now nor will ever be a liberal cause. It is the notion that we must not interfere or regulate corperate greed and thier persuit to making a buck that nearly wrecked the global economy. When we deregulated the banks they wrote mortgages and bundled them and sold them on the stock market over and over until they ended up in some poor saps 401K. Back to Palin this poor woman does not have a clue! She goes on and on and says nothing relevant,no facts just rhetoric. It is pure marketing and no meat.

What world are you living in?
The real one, Joe. A world in which Saddam Hussein was third rate third world dictator half way around the world who posed no immediate threat to the security of the United States. However big a murderous scumbag Hussein was, invading Iraq was not absolutely necessary for the security of the United States. It was an ELECTIVE war.

Joe, you can talk about the Democratic Party's failed economic policies and lack of fiscal restraint all you want, but it doesn't mean anything to me if you're willing to spend hundreds of billions of dollars to prop up a failed foreign policy. What's the point of railing against the huge economic debt the Democrat Party's' welfare policies are driving us towards if you're simply going to march blindly toward the huge economic debt that the Republican Party's warfare policies are driving us toward?

I keep hearing all this smaller government, pro-Constitution talk coming from Sarah Palin and her defenders, but tell me exactly what is smaller government about pre-emptive war and nation war? Where in the U.S. Constitution does it say the the United States is to be the policeman of the world or engage in 10 year long nation-building exercises?

Do yourself a favor, Joe. If you truly support smaller government and the U.S. Constitution, stop wasting your time on Sarah Palin and other Tea Party types who want the movement to be co-opted by the Republican Party. Vote Libertarian. Or better yet, vote for the Boston Tea Party.

Yes, Joe, there is an actual political party called the Boston Tea Party. I know because vote the Boston Tea Party candidate in 2008, and he wasn't some Liberty-in-name-only (LINO) pro-war Republican shill either. He was a smaller government, pro-civil liberties, pro-free market, anti-war, pro-Constitution candidate.

The thing you gotta remember, Joe, is that governments don't hold revolutions against themselves. The Republican Party has been part of the government through Democratic administrations and Republican administrations alike, growing the the size of government whenever they were in power and doing little of substance to actually shrink it when they were the minority party. That makes them part of the problem. For Tea Party members to support the Republican Party or its agenda is anathema to the principles that the movement claims to stand for.

Question: Sarah Palin's speech...

An awesome America-loving, God-fearing, Obama-bashing, speech?

Or the most awesome America-loving, God-fearing, Obama-bashing speech?

TARP was a program created by the "failure" of liberal programs, aimed at providing minorities with houses that they could not "afford". Its passage was "necessary" to prevent a collapse in the world's financial system! The Iraq War was undertaken against a murderous dictator who refused to abide by the sanctions from the end of the Kuwait war. Eliminating Saddam served to free nearly "30 million" people from his tyrannical rule, and give them the opportunity to live in a free society under near-democratic rule. Given the alarming naivite of many of our allies against genuine military threats, I have no doubt that the presence of American military bases is viewed favorably by these countries. What world are you living in?

Unfortunately, it doesn't look like I'll be able to post more than the first 18 1/2 minutes of the speech (apparently WordPress does not allow posts that are more than 2325 words long) which means I'd have to continue the speech over on an entirely new post, knowing that the second post will not be enough to cover the remaining 23 minutes of the speech.

At this point, I'm not sure if it's worth going to that much trouble. As of 11AM, I have yet to see Palin's speech posted in its entirety anywhere on the internet, I suspect that as of now, my transcript of the first half of the speech is the only one that has been transcribed.

If anyone wants to finish the job, I'm more than to have him/her used my existing transcript (so long as he/she credits me or TMV).
