    Nailed it. As many have commented, those are NOT the principles this country was based on. It is shocking to find that 5 people on the Supreme Ct. could be this clueless about the founders intent. The fallout from this could easily tip us right out of our democracy, but then maybe they no longer care about democracy, but only about power. None of this was unforeseeable by the way. Even Thomas Jefferson warned about this.

    That's why their creation of inequal citizens is unconstitutional. And that's why the ratifiers of the 14th Amendment gave a special exception to the balance of powers with regards to it, giving Congress the vague and sole power of enforcement of that Amendment.
