According to “The Whiteboard” at Politico44, the President’s State of the Union address will be January 27, a week from Wednesday, with his proposed budget offered the following Monday, February 1.

If this pans out then clearly they do not expect HRC to be done for the speech.
I suspect that the State of the Union is getting better despite the poison pill Bush and the republicans left behind for our people to suffer though in their hope that President Obama would get the blamed for it.
i find it to be a national embarrassment that a speech by the head of the nation had to be moved because of a bunch of whiny tv show fanatics. especially since only one of them would be live.

As far as health care “reform” legislation readiness — maybe they know something the rest of us don't. The details may have been worked out, or reconciliation underhandedness has been approved.
