In addition to the Fitzgerald connection, let’s not forget about those pesky generals so much in the news. And doesn’t it all seem a bit rushed? McClellan obviously hadn’t had enough time to gather his emotions before the public announcement, and no replacement was named (apparently negotiations with Fox News, er, Tony Snow are ongoing).
And hey, it wasn’t even time for the Friday afternoon dump yet! Hmmm. It’s Friday… Other shoes ready to drop?
Rove is being releived of some duties to prepare for his indictment.
