I belive that Islamic law is not the problem, the way in which some “Muslim Clerics” are interpreting it is the problem. I have a very interesting article which explains in detial the nitty gritties behind Islamic Law regarding apostasy and all information points to a misrepresentation of what Islam actually teaches.

To blindly follow literal meanings and what has been passed down without question or study orunderstanding is plain ignorance.

Infact, this whole affair of killing the apostate goes directly against the Quranic Injunction “There is no compulsion in religion.”
