Who was the real person of the year?

That pressing issue of major importance to all rational beings is the subject of my latest column at Pajamas Media today. Bernanke? Really? And Obama didn’t even make the top five on their list. But should it have been? I examine that question, along with why anyone would have nominated Sarah Palin, and further invite our good TMV readers to chime in below on who deserved to make the list, who didn’t, and who should have won. Who was naughty? Who was nice? Political Santa wants to know!

After reading a few of the “comments” about your article at Pajamas, I believe that the American Heart Association should selcct you as Person of the Year for drumming up cardiac arrest patients from the rabid right.

As to your original question, I would nominate Wall Street. Not only did they single-handedly devalue the US economy by several trillion dollars, their lobbying efforts have distorted the American form of government.

Why vote for Bernanke when the guys pulling his strings are the real force?
