that is why my company will specialize in hiring soldiers…I know where they are coming from…and trauma never ends I don't care what you attempt to convice me of…so with that said they will work for me and also be REQUIRED to do my company counseling…other veterans of foreign wars will be their mediators and inform me of their progress or digress…and if they blow out then I shut down operations and we stop working and assist the soldier – commrads in arms…that is what life is about..not death…

Craig, thank you for this post. Thank you for writing it. Thank you for challenging Rich Lowry and company's utterly non-supportive imaginary support for the suffering of soldiers who cannot forget what they saw and did. Thank you for your heart, for your compassion, for your awareness, for your sensitivity, and thank you for telling the truth.

This guy may just be a nut and not suffer from PTSD, but either way i feel sorry for you and your neighbors.
Killing animals is a crime in my state. Call the cops, and again, and again. Put him away PTSD or not.

I have a multi-term Vietnam Veteran as a neighbor. At age 67 he still skulks around at night with a gun, He raised all three of his sons to go on night-stalking missions where they would kill, maim and beat on neighboring livestock [in lieu of actually attacking people?]..one step away.

He hates alarming pets like dogs, geese and peacocks in particular, and will kill any in our area that he knows of or finds out about. Apparently when they were sneaking up on the enemy in Vietnam some peacocks gave away their whereabouts and several people in his platoon died as a result.

His entire family and undoubtedly his grandchildren [if he ever gets any as backwards as his three sons are] is completely screwed up. All of them are suffering from PTSD of Vietnam. Our entire community is suffering from PTSD from Vietnam. Ever wake up and find your animals purposefully maimed or pets dead from poisoning? I and my other neighbors have, dozens and dozens of times. There's your PTSD. Such a lovely ripple-effect war has..
