I remember back in May 1992, the week before I graduated high school, I asked my Economics teacher (a wonderful teacher that was Chinese) after class ended:
"What does made in China really mean?"
She let out a sigh and kind of looked off in a distance. Then she looked at me and said, and I will never forget her words:
"One day, 'Made In China', is going to cause us great economic pain. And whoever is President, Democrat, Republican, or Independent, will have it thrown on his or her lap. And that President will have to take full blame and no answer will be good enough for China or the American people. I feel for that future President. It will be a terrible time for him or her."
