Grow up, lefties. She's a good lightning rod. In fact, she's more entertaining than Palin, with a touch of real Far Right to her, not just plain “social conservative” stuff like Palin. Bachmann reminds me of Helen Chenowyeth (sp?) and a little muscle-flexing of the Far Right after 1994. (Chenowyeth married Wayne Hage, if I recall correctly, someone associated with primarily-Western “wise use” anti-environmentalist politics, not mainstream pro-development stuff but something more provocative, like the militias back then.)

This is one of the reasons I love and respect Minnesota politics.
You guys really seem to have it right up there.
Perhaps the cold weather prohibits the fine folks of Minnesota from wasting their intellectual resources on bull crap.

The lib/con debate has been perfected in Minnesota. The rest of us can learn something from you.

I suppose it makes a certain amount of sense to have the nuts out in the open where they can be seen, and I have no doubt that Bachmann benefits the D's more than she does the R's… yet it's still a disappointing commentary on the quality of the electorate.
