Everyone I chat with is perfectly happy with the job President Barack Obama is doing. He is doing better than we'd hoped even in his attempts to raise the Titanic from it's descent to the sea floor. We aren't immature little babies who expect superman capabilities from a single man and his small team of toiling salvage workers.

People who write opinions like this would do well to remember that if the ship sinks we all go down on it. Bush/Cheney did their level best to blast elephant-sized holes in the hull of America. Obama deserves the Nobel Prize and more for sticking with the most miserable job in the world right now: trying to undo the collosal mess Cheneyco left us.

Kudos Mr.Obama. We put petty snivelling agendas, grifting greed and infantile prejudices aside and applaud your great and heroic efforts. : )

Assessments of how Mr. Obama is handling the war in Afghanistan have become more negative since early October. Thirty-eight percent now approve of how President Obama is handling the war – but even more, 43 percent, disapprove. Disapproval has risen nine points, from 34 percent last month.

Americans prefer quick decisions to correct decisions. Our tabloid society of 15 second news blurbs doesn't have the patience for long and intense debate.

Maybe Bush was the President we deserved.
