What you say is plausible. I wonder whether Obama has the stomach for the fight. His timing right not would not be good, in-light of the Fort Hood shootings. People are angry (whether rightly or wrongly) that fourteen are dead, and apparently, at least in-part, because of a Muslim extremist in our ranks. Why was he resurrected and put on the air once again, with an emphasis in doing so to attack McChrystal in particular (a systematized ad hominem argument form, in opposition to sending more troops to, and doing more in, Afghanistan)?
