Watched it last night… Some of Stewart's best work, imo. He was seriously channeling Beck, and it was absolutely mesmerizing. You'll notice that the studio audience wasn't laughing very hard during the sketch. It was funny, but it was more fascinating (and a little creepy/scary) to watch how visuals could so captivate over what the person is actually saying.
Brilliant, and shows how much melodramatic theater Beck and his cohorts use.
Beck can cry a river on demand. John was great, he just didn't shed nearly enough crocodile tears.
Jon Stewart is the man!
Just more evidence that these hateful dem-Libs will stoop so low as to take a decent, God-fearing, founding-father-caliber-man's appendix, tie it to Hitler's small intestine and claim that he is a fascist. My oh my, won't they stop at anyting? Have they no shame?
