Principles are things that gently guide one's thinking about issues, not rigidly dictate the answer to every question before it is even asked. Moderates are people who are smart enough to recognize that no ideology provides the best solution to every problem. Moderates will always be misunderstood by the ideologues of the world who are naive enough to think they have everything figured out.

[Moderate Republicans] may become extinct? Limbaugh has reached new heights, predicting that which has already occurred, save perhaps a few of the politically comatose who have yet to come to grips with their own demise.

When St. Peter asks him and Sharpton if they have ever taken a warm shower or had a kind word for anyone on the other side of their limited viewpoints, then they can appreciate the moderate's viewpoint.

"moderates have no principles" has been a schtick of Limbaugh's for over a decade, nothing new here. The guy is clueless. As another article pointed out this morning the GOP seems to believe it can gain a majority by making it's party smaller.

One day Rush himself will also "become extinct". When that happens the air will no doubt feel a little fresher and people will smile a little more often.
