An Internet hub with domestic and international news, analysis, original reporting, and popular features from the left, center, indies, centrists, moderates, and right
Although I agree that the specialty shows are massively conservative (Beck and such); I still maintain that Fox is still an awesome source for balance against the mainstream which leans left.
I think Fox News is great in that if you really want to know how the republican party thinks and what level of mental acuity it functions at, just turn on Fox. If you can identify with that level of wanton ignorance and fact revisionism then that is precisely where you belong viewing.
People on the fence though, those with a brain that still is capable of learning new things and isn't utterly calcified at what it knew for “certain” at age 16 tend to shy away from such a farcical display of everything-they-don't-want-to-identify-with.
In other words, Fox “news” is the perfect repellant for anyone uncertain about their political leanings. This point was driven home to me when some guys who I consider to be right of Cheney were laughing at Glen Beck's antics, crying and pretending to speak in tongues. If Fox can alienate those guys….keep them on and doing what they do. Whatever works. : )
What ridiculous nonsense. Obama has as many critics as boosters on MSNBC, they just aren't far-right critics, except for the anti-Semite Pat Buchanan. And unlike Fox, opinion and news are clearly demarcated, that's why MSNBC is still journalistically respectable, and Fox is not.
But to merit publication, shouldn't a cartoon, however politically slanted, have some wit to it? This one is just a bald statement of opinion, without any comedic merit.
Fox is laughable, from the blond bimbos, to the loud mouthed propaganda artists. It is pretty clear they took their propaganda technique from the Soviet Union. The family values channel from Rupert Murdoch who made his money in porn.
Fox is a current object of wrath and hatred from the Usual Suspects because it is unorthodox (is not lock-step liberal to flirting with radicalism or activism as MSBNC has chosen to do to be edgier), just as is Limbaugh — who filled the enormous mainstream-depriving vacuum or “hole” created by the liberal media orthodoxy, rigidity, and PC coercive conformity.
The kids and the low-lifes really loathe that fact.
This is an awesome cartoon.
