You almost had me there when you said they all are entertainment.

But for the record....Fox has a place, and that is to balance out what you here on the All-Obama channels.
If you objectively listen to both, the truth can actually be found. That which cannot, can be found on the internet. I'm not accusing you of not doing that, but I hope you do view both sides of news to form your opinons.

Fox is a great source for that. But Fox is not as bad on the right as MSNBC is on the left. MSNBC is like giving Ed Shultz a news show. Fox has it's ultra-conservative bits like Hannity (gag) and Beck. But even Beck is slowly turning Libertarian in nature. Hannity makes my skin crawl.

Lol @ tidbits
But yeah...anything that brings attention or alleged credibility to Fox "news" only gives them more ammo to beat Obama over the head with. I think just plain ignoring them would have been a much better strategy.

How did you feel when the Bush white house did the same thing with every station but Fox? I specifically remember an interview on NPR where Lynne Cheney went off on the reporter for asking a question about gay marriage during the campaign and then continued to insult her and the station for the remainder of the interview for their extreme "liberal agenda".

I find it amusing that telling the truth is such a problem, this is the station that when Repubs are charged with crimes they put D's next to their names instead of R's on "accident." Then you top that off with their self created protest, (notice how little they covered the gay rally?)that they then whine and cry because they did not get the coverage on the other channels that they wanted. They lie, they are a 24/7 infomercial for the Repub party that should be investigated for campaign finance law issues.

MSNBC should be investigated for sheer idiocy and incompetence and if it is found that they do help the dems in any way they should also be prosecuted but I think it would be found that MSNBC sucked too much to have any real impact on the electorate where as Fox is more like Springer and can be amusing if you lack historical knowledge or agree with them or like being insulted otherwise people can usually only take it in mild doses.

I am neither a fan of Fox or MSNBC but agree that this is a losing proposition for Obama just as banning MSNBC would have been for Bush.

The only interesting thing for me is the many voices who would have gone nuts over Bush doing it seem ok with Obama doing it.

Fox isn't the messenger. Fox creates news...

As far as doing something right...well, yes, they have found a way to make a lot of money. As an entertainment channel, they are very smart. But they are not a news channel, neither is MSNBC for that matter. These are two entertainment channels whose content is driven towards a certain demographic...not towards the purpose of honest journalism.

Agreed, it isn't an effort that will pay off. It won't affect those who already recognize FOX for it's dearth of objectivity, neither will it affect those who are too clueless to have figured it out or those who applaud it. Better to stay above that particular fray.
