It could be that they're taking lessons from Fox's galvanize-via-...technique. [no offense to Schlomo].
Here's how it works: you include a "token" opposition speaker or two. You pre-screen them for personality issues. The more glaring and comical the better, If they have a hairlip or a lisp or some other physical deformity [done tastefully, off-putting but not so much that it's hard to look at], all the better. Then to a visceral audience you always look right, superior, learned, "better" than the opposition. Girls do this when they're out hunting men. If they want to look their best, they call their fattest, homliest girlfriend to go out with them "to have fun!"..lol...
Who says the East has nothing to learn from the West, or from women for that matter?
What? Did I say something?

No mention about MSNBC, I see. How about the rest of the big three? NBC? Just smile and agree with everything the guy we got elected says. If he says the sky is made of milk, that's ok. We'll just say we always thought it was too.
At least Fox does ATTEMPT to show both sides. I do agree, however, that it has gotten worse lately. No more Alan Combs, etc. They need to get back to that.
As far as Al Jazeera's diversity goes.... Have they considered a gay blue-eyed Jewish asian hermaphrodite? (In a burka, of course) :)
