There is nothing to remember on election day. The Democratic Party is the one, dominate party and have total control over the future of the U.S. President Obama has greater control than President Bush ever had. So instead of worrying about an irrelevant political party, why not worry about the future of the U.S. under one party control. Given the changing demographic changes of the U.S. most of the U.S. will soon resemble south-central L.A. How do the Democrats plan on delivery a very high level of government entitlements based upon the economic growth generated by poor blacks and Hispanics?

The Republicans are irrelevant to governance in the U.S. There is nothing for the Republicans to focus on. The Republicans are out of power and doomed by demographics.

A better question is why couldn't the Democrats, after claiming that they are great at governance, get any of the budget bills approved before the start of the fiscal year. Speaker Pelosi bragged about how she would run Congress. Yet, here we are in 2009, without a single approved federal budget.

I have to agree Kathy. The Republican behavior on this issue has been shameful. I actually agree with the Republicans that say that Obama should have been focusing on more pressing issues. However, to them I would say, why aren't you? There are plenty of more important issues to be critical of Obama over rather than the Olympics.

After eight years of the left emphasizing every failure of the Bush Administration and after 2008 when the media repeatedly told everyone that Obama and his staff were near perfect, the conservative pundits have having fun mocking the Obama Administraiton. The failure to get the Olympics goes against the public image that people like David Axelrod has developed for President Obama.

It also goes against the image idea of making every thing personal and making President Obama the public face on every image.

Of course, this is the fourth post on Themoderatevoice on this issue yet, since this is the first week of the new fiscal year and the Pelosi/Reid lead Congress has failed to pass any of the 12 appropriation bills, I guess it is more fun to criticize irrelevant Republicans than post about the incompetence of the Democrats.
