It would be so much easier to get a mental and moral lobotomy, and accept Krugman's hack "work" that of course, anyone complaining is contemptible, and of course we should be spending vastly more money on all kinds of "stimulus" gimmicks.

(Krugman is notoriously silent about misconduct by ObamaCo's insider bank buddies and by Treasury.)

And as for every stimulus bill, a bunch of crap got added that had nothing to do with stimulating the economy. Big shocker there.

Just like the healthcare bill, where Oregon, Nevada, Rhode Island are exempt from medicaid payments. Typical.

So the state budget crises are now being blamed on Snowe, Nelson and Collins? The left was in love with those three at the time and I seem to remember 58 other Senators also voting for the stimulus.

And why the implication while private businesses are suffering and having to lay off employees, government jobs should be immune to recessions? Is every government job really that critical?

It's funny the Olympics were brought up - while Chicago barely has enough money to run the city Mayor Daley thought it would be a good time to go further into debt to finance the Olympics.
