Not your conservative “friends”. Only the far-right or ratings grabbers like Limbaugh or Hannity would do that. I'm a conservative, and I think his going to Denmark was a great idea. Why not?

And if Obama didn't go, our conservative friends would be on here complaining that Obama wasn't pro-American enough, that he's thrown Chicago “under the bus” and so forth.

How about we just remember that in the grand scheme of things, this trip and the site of the Olympics are unimportant. Move along…

I don't care if we land a prestigious global sports event or not, but what a nonstory! Even bidding on the Olympics is twisted into some partisan attack on Obama as “shameful and disgraceful”. Pathetic.

The lobbying and “campaign” extension is shameful and disgraceful. To what extent it is ObamaCo related and to what extent it reflects old Blue Nation trying to recapture some lost glory, who knows?

That Obama reneged on his word is nothing new. We've learned not to believe him religiously, and his administration is marked by an immature rushing and indecisiveness at times, making things up as they go along (beginning with the “stimulus” follies).
