that Rush, what a comic. Kinda looks here like a cross between Ted Kennedy… oh no, what if… the milkman…

  3. Leonidas says:

Well if Limbaugh ever held office there might be a point.

  4. shannonlee says:

Rush doesn't hold a political office, but he is the defacto head of the Republican party. That is until Glenn Beck takes over.

  5. DLS says:

[shrug] So the losers are late to the game, and miss (or avoid) the obvious. No surprise.

The obvious remains — as with the UN General Assembly clowns, so with lib Dem Congresional clowns.

  6. Rambie says:

Leo, are you going to try and proclaim the SL Trib as part of some “Evil liberal media conspiracy” now?

  7. Leonidas says:

Nope, I think Limbaugh is a blowhard too, I just recognize he has no political office. I worry more about blowhards and earmarkers of both parties in office more than pundits. A pundit only has influence over those who chose to listen, an official has influence over what gets implemented..

  8. archangel says:

Dear Leonidas. That's not how ann coulter earns her money. The best seller list means deep discounts, up to 67% on retail. I know it might appear otherwise to those who are outside publishing, but the NYT list means as little as 1000 books by a single author sold per week. There's much more to how people who author books make money–or not– but the bestsellers list isnt where Ann or any other author makes the most money. Also, books dont get to #1 through controversy. There are other ways they reach #1, again, it's info inside publishing, but has been on the internet at various reliable places now, for years.

  9. Leonidas says:

Never said that was how she got most of her money, just how she got to number 1 on the best seller list by generating controversy. The books and the controversy surrounding them get her the book tours and media attention. Everytime she comes out with a book you see her on the talk show circuit. Its a springboard for her to other revenue.

  10. JeffersonDavis says:

    Ahmadenijad, Chavez, & Qaddafi.
    Limbaugh, Beck, & Hannity.

Which trio lives in a nation where free speech is protected?

Which trio head up nations where free speech is punished by prison or death?

  11. Father_Time says:

The point is that free speech means all wackos are free to blather whatever verbal garbage they wish, regardless of how loony, and, we also allow foreigners to do the same.

  12. JeffersonDavis says:

My point was that Ahmadenijad, Qaddafi, and Chavez are not citizens in our country. They are, therefore, not governed (or protected) by our Constitution in that sense.

But there's hope. If any of the three apply for citizenship, there's a place in Obama's cabinet for them.
    Isn't it wonderful?

    LOL
