I also read something the other day that sounds fairly logical……..if Fox has been the darling of conservative viewers for a decade now, they have undoubtedly maxed out their pure conservative viewership numbers quite awhile back. Yet, their audience share keeps on increasing nonetheless.
Only two possible places to get the incremental viewership………moderates going back to the right side or indeed, liberals trying to come up with material for their blog articles.
I don't know if you meant to put a blank space there or not, but the fact that I'm seeing a big blank space after “CNN target audience” is pretty accurate. lol!

Sort of like how no “serious” conservative will attempt to defend Glenn Beck yet his ratings continue to rise?
It seems that either these “serious” conservatives are lying about their viewing habits, or the GOP really does have a majority nut membership.

Well, the number one rated show on TV right now is “Dancing With the Stars”. The sum total of this evidence points to the fact that people like to see washed-up sad saps put on a new costume and shake their butts in order to lift up their drooping image, while American votes on which sad sap is the best sad sap. The actual pros, of course, get very little credit. Meh, no accounting for taste, I suppose.
Nothing to do with liberalism or conservatism–just the relentless dumbing down of the American public.
