I'm surprised that Olbermann hasn't — yet — descended into being vile toward the public (the vast mainstream and more) who is also guilty of heterodoxy (which, after all, constitutes heresy).

Actually, it reminds me of the Obama adminstration, soliciting informants and Commie-style denunciations of politically incorrect information about the failing health care effort. If the fine folks running Washington can have us do it, and we already know the liberal media hate any and all political heretodoxy, why wouldn't Olbermann (the notorious often-deranged-and-vicious extremist who slobbered and read aloud text from Obama's Colorado nomination acceptance speech on the air before his object of worship actually gave the speech himself) demand the same and more from anyone politically incorrect who is getting media exposure?

Hell otherwise reasonable lefties on here still pull that old nugget about CIA knowing about Atta and company (9/11 hijackers). Sure they just somehow blame Bush because the law wouldn't let them give the info to any domestic agency.

What I've told countless people: Don't depend on anyone to assume what you want. Make it known. If they don't hear you, speak louder. If they still don't hear you, run against them in the next election.

Glenn Beck, at minimum, encourages people to LEARN, always question government, and to ask “why” when something happens in Washington.

Is it the job of another news outlet to “dig up dirt” on critics of the current administration? No. Their job should be to keep the government in check, not assist the government in destroying their critics in the News. Isn't that what the Left said under the Bush administration?

Beck is not in the government, but Van Jones, Sunstein, Llyod and Browner are.

I understand Beck asked viewers and bloggers to check the rest of the czars. I understand that because they were successful in uncovering GOVERNMENTAL appointees….BUT for a cable news anchor to ask people to investigate, dig-up, look under the rug, peek into windows, and crack emails to INVESTIGATE ANOTHER CABLE NEWS ANCHOR OR PERSONALITY IS INSANE…and smacks of both the evils of Stalinist Communist and Fascist Brownshirts.

I believe this is the worse thing I ever heard and sends a dangerous message to the newsroom CHILLING free speech.

Oblermann wants to attack the WHISTLER BLOWER and protect corrupt, racist and radical government officials and punish any reports by Cable News on the government.

By requesting this 'info' on Beck, Olbermann wants to CHILL free speech, freedom of the Press, and attack any REAL reporting on the government.

Olbermann has just revealed that he is against Freedom of the Press.

The idea to have people “investigate” another NEWS CABLE PERSON is totally sick and yes, INSANE.

Cable News outlets should investigate bad apples and dealings in our government NOT EACH OTHER.

Olbermann has clearly stepped over the line on this one and is sounding LIKE A CRAZY KOOK.

Beck investigated people in our government (Van Jones) and their ties to radical groups and just because Beck was successful in uncovering a RACIST, ANTI-AMERICAN, COP-HATING, 9-11 TRUTHER Oblermann wants to DESTROY Beck.

I think Oblermann just showed himself to be A KOOK and has it backwards.

That is the job of REAL reporters and journalists to uncover bad persons and dealings in our government and INSTEAD OBLERMANN WANTS TO PUNISH THE MAN WHO UNCOVERED A RACIST, COP-HATING, ANTI-AMERICAN 9-11 TRUTHER IN THE GOVERNMENT.
