Some enemies became friends, some enemies pretended to become friends, and, new enemies emerged. I don’t think NATO’s role has become redundant. However, NATO is far from being absolete.<br><br>In my view, NATO is the only entity on earth that has kept the United Nations from achieving a one-world government. When democracy needs defended, NATO is sent; and the UN takes a backseat.<br><br>Thank God for NATO. I really don't want to become a subject of the Secretary General.
