FT — Not a single sentence in your reply makes a lick of sense; it's too nonsensical to even try to dissect. The numerous gay friends I have who are in the troops are most certainly thinking of the troops. Their being in Iraq is dangerous for them because they are in a war-torn occupied country, not because they are gay. They're not allowed to be “out” anyway.

The issue of gay people is gay people. Gay people do not describe themselves, the world does. Women are natural, Jews are a normal proclivity. Gay is neither. You should think of our troops instead of yourself.

Father_Time, while it seems you frequently make absolutely no sense when it comes to the issue of gay people, this might be the worst offense so far. Do you suggest that we also kick out all the Jews from the military? Because I've heard they're not so popular in many of the areas we're currently occupying. Women also, evidently, need to be kicked out, as women in those countries generally meet violence for having the audacity to go out of their homes. God, get a friggin clue.

This is another good reason not to have openly gay/lesbian people in the military. Cultural rejection from the occupied. Disgust terminating in violence against our troops.

It’s one thing to resent half naked men prancing in the street with pink muffin scarves around their necks or not wanting a male employee to have the right to meet your clients in a moo-moo, but murder or harm in any way is unacceptable. This is truly sad.

They run safe houses inside Iraq as well as supporting refugees in the rest of the middle east.

Whilst the HRW report is good news for raising the profile of the pogrom, only Iraqi LGBT is actually supporting people (saving them from murder) inside the country. But funds are scarce and they consequently have to turn people away.
