		<description>I, too, LOVE NASA, but this is one i can live with. &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;This is mainly because the relative likely-hood of a significant meteor event within any 50,000 year time period is close to zero, and secondly because even if we did spot one, there is nothing we can do about it. &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;A couple of cheesy movies come out about this, and we should let them drive the funding priotrites for NASA? I think we can risk 20 years before massivly funding NASA again. If other nations are worried, let them pay for it. 800 million is eight tenths of a billion. Cut NASA&#039;s buget by nine tenths and drop this screwy astroid idea. We have some grandmas to kill.</description>
