Riiiiiiight.... Except:

1)"Who Democrats Think Deserves Constitutional Rights" should point at both people.
2)The book title should be "Recovering from Kidnap & Torture" ... because MANY were not "caught on the battlefield." Democrats DO of course want the guilty behind bars.
3)The caption on the right should read, "...although this one tried to keep a US Congressman FROM speaking"
4)The sign should read what seniors misled by the big money ACTUALLY said, namely "Keep the Government Away From My Medicare"

Oh, relax. It's just a cartoon. While I do not agree with the sentiment expressed, I do see the humor.

it might be funny, but the cartoon is still a lie:
Democrats want constitutional rights for everyone. They oppose the "grandma" taking away other people's rights by screaming so loud no one else can be heard.

I lived in Europe for over ten years. Their socialized healthcare is better than ours, and, they certainly don't want our healthcare system, (if you want to call it a system). These anti-healthcare "nazis" are self defeating idiots.

So this is a rather patronizing and grossly inaccurate Cagle.

Looks like Glenn Reynolds has a twin working as a cartoonist. One has to believe there are folks whose primary objective is fabricating and exploiting division; the more curous phenomenon is the number of people who buy into it.

Of course I disagree with the cartoon and believe that it is offensive to Democrats.

But, having "tolerated" similar cartoons offensive to Republicans, it would be hypocriticalfor me to condemn this one.

Having said that, the content of the cartoon is, of course, a total distortion of the facts.

Hey, Dems..........speaking of Nancy Pelosi saying the protestors were carrying swastika signs, do you actually have any proof? Right now, the only photos going around show the protestors carrying swastika signs with the ubiquitous red line and circle drawn over it.

Nancy Pelosi isn't my idea of a poster person for bipartisanship. Of course it would be disingenuous to think she didn't pick up some of her chops from dealing with a ridiculously-partisan GOP for so many years. Wouldn't it be nice if we could all get off this treadmill?
