I don't even know what to say. How can anyone wrap their mind around the deliberate infliction of death and torment on that scale? The monstrous things people are capable of doing and the ability of others to ignore suffering is nearly incomprehensible. And yet the story of these people who endured and moved forward is a testament to the choosing of life. They have my greatest respect, appreciation, and awe.
