It’s Barack Obama’s 48th birthday today — and here are some poignant thoughts by someone who I read everday. I thank God that he’s alive.

I think Helen Thomas would say the same thing as she got off with the candle and the cupcakes on OBama's Big Day. . .glad it was her. . .

Just don't confuse the two.

As for Helen Thomas, she's an old liberal dinosaur, but I hope the cup cake doesn't bribe her into reconsidering her dislike of Obama's stage-managing press conferences and manipulating the media.
