Organized crime doesn't like sending messages to upstart club owners by attacking civilians, people with grudges don't increase their chances to get caught by attacking in public and absolute psychopaths are indeed random but fortunately very rare.<br><br>There is no reason to jump to conclusions, but I think it doesn't require much faith or a political agenda to assume a hate crime for now. Pride parades have been hassled in very violent ways in Israel before - no homosexual or otherwise sexually uncommon individual is safe in a country heavily influenced by any patriarchal religion or philosophy. They are a challenge to gender roles and dynamics, engendering base and infantile hostility in people of low mind or intense convictions.<br><br>Plus, this is Israel.
