A Culture Critic Is Born

Politics’ loss is society’s gain as Sarah Palin stepped into her new career with “some straight talk” about the media and Hollywood.

“You represent,” she told assembled journalists, “what could and should be a respected, honest profession, and what could and should be a cornerstone of our democracy–and that’s why our troops are willing to die for you.

“So how about in honor of the American soldier you quit making things up?”

She also decried “anti-hunting, anti-Second Amendment circuses from Hollywood” that rely on “delicate, tiny celebrity starlets” to persecute peaceful gun owners with healthy appetites.

“Hollywood needs to know we eat, therefore, we hunt,” she told a cheering crowd, including a woman in a red T-shirt reading “Palintologist,” defining the profession as “someone who studies Palin and shares her conservative values, Maverick attitude and American style.”

She too belonged to an organization that was honorable and freed the slaves.
So what does she do? She quits. She solemnly swore when she became Gov. to protect Alaska.
So how does she repay the people who worked for her election and voted for her? She quits.
She has no honor and she certainly is not respected except by those who think the way she does.

Sarah Palin is a quitter, a liar and has no solutions for our problems. She only knows how to tear down and destroy.
She does not bring honor to the republicans.

Honoring and respecting our troops is one thing.

Supporting our troops is an even better thing.

Referring to our military and their sacrifices as a reminder of our freedoms, and how we got them and kept them is also another thing.

But callously USING the U.S. military to advance one's personal and political positions, to make a point about Hollywood, the press, or whatever, is simply shameful.

This is not the first time you have done this.

    Shame on you Sarah Palin!

A plain talking pretty politician with radical beliefs and no history of being able to make good governing decisions is not one that should be in a public office. So let her comment on Hollywood, but let's remember our government requires more than sweet talk. May Palin stay in this new career of commentator.

It's pretty ironic to hear her, of all people, criticize the media for making things up. This woman has been caught lying repeatedly. She should follow her own advice.

Maybe Palin should move to Canada to huny her moose – no Hollywood there. Oops, Canada is a socialist gun banning country, but plenty of healthy hunters up North.

Ah… the audacity of cognizant thought! We'll miss yah, Mizz P !

Its good to know she won't be engaging in apologetics, maybe, with her accusing of media biases, which are part of our yesterdays, also.

What a slap to Fox News!
