Rasmussen, despised by the left but the most accurate poll in predictive value in 2008 has Palin running six points behind Obama. That was before the recent Obama debacle. If Obama keeps doing what he has thus far, she will be 30 points ahead by 2012 Ah, the heads that will pop like little kernels of popcorn.

Repeat “It's over for Palin” three times and click your heels. Now, pretend your wishes turned true. lol

Whoa, DLS. *Dems* vote for such people? The biggest actor pols I can think of are all Reps. Ronald, Arnold, etc. Besides Al Franken (who is only a few weeks into the job), are there other major actors in politics on the left?

Al Franken has demonstrated that acting is possible in Washington (as his appearance at the Sotomayor Senate hearings has shown to all). Dems vote for such people; why not have Palin go to the Senate, too?

It's as silly to predict her future now as it would be to assume Obama will be re-elected already. (Yes, we have encountered such silliness already.)

Note that vicious attacks on her are noticed by the many of us who aren't big fans of her, and expose the nature of those conducting those attacks, which becomes the real issue rather than Palin.

Meanwhile, what about all those arrests related to something _truly_ bad in New Jersey? Are they GOP?

Ms. Palin, poor dear. I think being the VP pick on the McCain ticket may have been the worst thing to ever happen to her. Or maybe all these ethics issues would have come up anyway, just not on a national stage. I guess she made her bed, but I still feel a little bad for her.

I couldn't help but think of acting…. Who knows whether that's a real job or not and Palin has been acting at a lot of things. So perhaps she can continue her acting career in some other manner.

But perhaps the best actors are politicians. Many certainly lead lives which are also found in the soaps.

Actually, a question should be asked if Palin has the right character to become President. Because of her decisions, their state legislature has to meet outside their own Capitol costing hundreds of thousands of dollars.

"Senate President Gary Stevens, R-Kodiak, said the one-day session will be held Aug. 10 in Anchorage instead of the state Capitol in Juneau."

This is interesting, but not too important right now. There is a lot of time and money between now and 2012. My guess is the Palin is going to spend the next 3 years studying up and raising money for her campaign run.

She might end up with more money than Obama

She's well-known and has a rabid fan-base, even if there are also plenty of people with a low opinion of her.

Not having a real job might be good for her. Or it might not. The notion that Palin is out of the game because of one poll is wishful thinking.
