The anti-choice people are complete wackos. If you listen to EWTN radio for any length of time, you will clearly see that the Catholic church is the principal administrative instigator behind the crazy behavior constantly displayed by the anti-family planning, anti-contraception movement.
I personally am sick and tired of religion in general and the Catholic church in particular getting away with subtly dictating from the pulpit political ideology. The hate rhetoric that comes from this is causing murder and I have yet to see a politically inspired Pro-Choice murder.
IMO the tax exempt status of the Catholic church should be revoked since they are clearly breaking the law. I also believe that no U.S. President should waste our people’s time and money visiting or publicly recognizing any pope.
