Children, especially on their first trip fishing, always seem to do better than the adults helping them. My 6-year-old recently caught a fish with no bait on the hook, almost slapping the water simultaneously. Me? Nothing.

It's the ultimate beginner's luck.

None of us are looking forward to her reaching dating age, I'm sure. She already looks like she's going to be a heartbreaker. It will just be a group of men with shotguns guarding the door and her being grounded until she either:
a: Gets married
b: Joins a convent
c: Turns 35

Jazz perhaps there is another way to look at this zero count fishing expedition. . .i would suggest it is an indication that you are just more advanced than most fishermen instead of catch and release, you are more much more zen with release before catch. . .?. . . .

but one thing for sure that great niece is definitely a keeper!. . .
