Another Circus Looming In California
In one of the quieter news stories of the week Congresswoman Tauscher (D-CA) was confirmed to serve as Under Secretary of State for Arms Control and International Security. Her departure sets up a special election which will occur later this year, probably in the early fall.
One of the leading candidates in the race is Lt. Governor John Garamendi and if he wins that would set up a vacancy in the post of Lt. Governor. Under California law the Governor (Arnold) would nominate a replacement who would then need to be confirmed by both houses of the legislature.
I sense another political battle looming.

Just wait until bankruptcy is established fact and the liberal media shriek and blame it on evil conservatives, as they did when New York finally bankrupted itself from years of liberal acts.
Government as a whole, is a joke. Tax ,spend and steal is all they know. Its getting afully expensive, for them to save me from myself.
