Yes. Note that he's next to nothing compared to Limbaugh, despite the incorrect statements on this thread to the contrary; Franken's radio show was little better than Mario Cuomo's (does anyone else remember that? [chuckle]).

It's mainly the Dems who would prefer a celebrity and now they have a celebrity.

And who finds sixty Dem votes (quality not an issue) being sweet, indeed? The giggly and worse kids…

Rush masquerades as a mere entertainer-but in reality he is the power behind the throne— and likes it that way. Even former VP Cheney prefers Limbaugh's brand of Republicanism to Colin Powell's.

As far as Limbaugh…. he is the one who wishes that Obama (and the country) will fail.

Limbaugh also demands that elected Republican leaders apologize to him when they say something he doesn't like… And apologize they do… to a “mere entertainer”. Limbaugh cares most about his ratings so he can continue to receive mulit-hundred million dollar contracts.

However Franken actually has the guts to go out, run a campaign for office and get elected to help people.

So I may not be a Franken fan, but at least he's doing something positive to change the ills he sees in America.

Franken's radio show was a flop because few wanted to hear his boring anti-American drivel, but that didn't stop the DNC from putting this bozo on the ballot. And they were going to do the same for Chris Tingle Matthews until polls revealed widespread revulsion at the thought.

Then Team Obama and their MSM allies mocked mere “entertainer” Rush Limbaugh for having significant influence in the GOP. The DNC even ran TV ads to trash him… when he's never even thought about running for office, to the best of my knowledge.

So a failed entertainer's OK for Democratic Senator… but a successful conservative one isn't even allowed to have influence? -please

It's now on to the U.S. Senate for Al Franken to make it 60

Minnesota Public Radio is reporting that the Minnesota Supreme Court has ruled unanimously in favor of Democrat Al Fraken in the disputed 2008 Senate….

He may let Coleman appeal to the federal judiciary — some have openly speculated he may take it to the U.S. Supreme Court. (Whether the Supreme Court would hear the case is questionable.)

Franken can be obnoxious and at times highly offensive with his farther-left politics, but when he calms down he seems okay intellectually and otherwise, and if the Minneapolis libbies want him as their new celebrity Senator, that's what we're likely to see.

Why wouldn't he? The last of the criteria have been met, and despite whatever you may think of the election itself and all the shenanigans, it is now over. Time to move on and get over it.

Except of course for Minnesota. They have to live with this decision for some time to come.
