My Favorite Michael Jackson Performance

Over the next few hours, most of the blogging world will be posting on the impact of Michael Jackson’s life. I have had mixed feelings about him over the past 15 years or so. His legal problems aside, in my opinion, he is one of the most important American artistic personalities of the past century. Jackson, Elvis, Hendrix and Sinatra changed music so dramatically that people are still trying to copy their brilliance decades after the original recording was released.

The clip below is my favorite M.J. moment from the Motown 25th anniversary TV show – Billie Jean. Enjoy.

Glad you believe that somehow his "artistic personality" trumps his moral personality.

    I don't subscribe to such.

I happen to have a young grandson.

i also love this clip. MJs music taught me to "see" the beats. his music changed my life.

no matter what personal troubles he went through, his value as an artist cannot be doubted.

He did contribute much to the music world but he also had severe emotional problems. I enjoyed most of his music but I couldn't stand him personally though I am sad to see his passing. His troubled soul will be in my thoughts.
