Kentucky Fried BEEF?

KFC’s new grilled chicken is made with rendered beef fat and plenty of MSG (monosodium glutamate).

There are two ways you can find this out. First, you can read the 37-page long list of ingredients in all of KFC’s products. Or you can read this post by Laura McClure on Kevin Drum’s blog.

Thanks for nothing, guys. Now I can’t tell my wife I’m being healthy when I get grilled chicken from KFC.

Why don't you quote openly? (Page 14 from the nutrition data on KFC's Web site)

There's no need to overreact if the ingredients are listed in descending order of composition (largest fraction first). If the beef flavorings are less than the secret spices, it is certainly not an excuse for hysteria.

Loved to read your blog. I would like to suggest you that traffic show most people read blogs on Mondays. So it should encourage bloggers to write new write ups over the weekend primarily.
