I understand that this is exactly one of the big criticisms against both text messaging and tweeting.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;The fact that Twitter forces the &quot;tweeter&quot; to pack as much commentary as possible into 140 characters lends itself to even more &quot;murdering&quot; of the English language--or of any language.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Having said this, I am sure tweeting has some benefits...as perhaps we are seeing in Iran&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Thanks,&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Dorian</description>

		<description>I will have to agree with you.  I have a Twitter account but have yet to learn how to tweet.  The Twitter directions are not clear on how to leave a tweet.  I think the twitterers are all raised on text messaging.  What alarms me is that the corruption of language thru text messaging is raising a generation of youngsters who won&#039;t know how to spell.</description>
