Father-in-Chief Obama Opts For Frozen Custard

I never miss an opportunity to treat others, and myself, to mouth-watering ice creams and frozen custards. I was delighted that dad Barack Obama gave a yummy frozen custard treat to daughters Sasha and Malia on The Father’s Day.

ABC News tells us that Sasha, his youngest daughter, went for the big chocolate brownie sundae with frozen yogurt, hot fudge, a cherry, sprinkles, and whipped cream. “But, the full cup seemed a bit too much and she asked her father to scoop off the whipped cream onto his own treat.

“Malia, the oldest daughter, ordered a waffle cone and vanilla custard. the President ordered a small cup of vanilla frozen custard with hot fudge and toasted almonds.” More here…

There's a little "mom and pop" frozen custard parlor not far from me. This place (in business for 38 years) makes homemade frozen custard SO good that we want to move in. This was my first time having frozen custard and I'm now a fan for life.

President Bush has been helping several local business. After eating at Ben's Chili Bowl, Ray's Hell Burger, Five Guys, and now Diary Godmother the tourist start seeking them out.

The Del Ray Neighborhood where President Obama went is an up and coming neighborhood since it has older homes that lend themselves to remodeling, it close in to DC, the Pentagon, and Crystal City, and is in between the commuter routes.

I am chagrined that the extremist wing of the republican party is using the photo-op of Obama behaving like a responsible, caring father as an opportunity to slam him on Iran. Like here and here and here and here and here and here.

It's one thing to take a break from your responsibilities. Obama was taking a break from shirking them.

Jim are a but head, Bush took a break for eight years and you did not complain, why are you complaining now that we have someone in office that really care about the america people and is not afraid to go among the ones that helped elected him.
