Being homosexual, bisexual, or transgendered is not a fetish. A “fetish” is a psychological fixation on a non-sexual object – like feet, pantyhose, or even gasmasks. A fetish, even in non-sexual terms, always refers to an object, never a person.

A person becomes attracted to a person of the same sex in the same way they become attracted to brunettes or red-heads. Have fun trying to explain that. Beauty is always in the mind (and the neuro-chemistry) of the beholder. Sexual arousal is too.

That is offensive. The discrimination in housing, employment, and the beatings, murders and actual taking away of gay and lesbian rights in the name of religion is just as bad as the same actions towards blacks and women (and other people who are discriminated against). You're not actually saying it's ok to perpetrate these actions against gay people because they choose to be gay (in your view) and it's not ok to perpetrate these actions against blacks and women because they were “truly born” ( to use your phrase) that way? Because that sure is how your comment sounds to me.

There really isn't a beginning point here. Homosexuality is as innate as heterosexuality. Anyone arguing differently is oblivious to every bit of scientific research not propagated by NARTH.
