The big news today is Iran’s election where President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is facing unexpectedly strong opposition. Can he lose? Some say yes. Some say no. Some suggest he could win even if he loses (rigged?). Others say no matter who wins the real Powers That Be in Iran will never allow significant changed and that hopes for a revolution are simplistic. But there is already one significant change: the large role of a new generation in Iran’s election:
