Who cares who wins. Whether a Democrat or a Republican wins will have zero affect on policy, zero affect on appropriations. The only decision for the voters is whether they will get more pork barrel spending from a Republican or a DEmocratic. The long term voters will of course vote for the Democrat and keep reelecting the incumbent so that in 20 to 30 years there district can benefit from massive pork barrel spending such as Jack Murtha's district benefits from today.

Also, with the Democrats in total control of the government and the Republican Party completing its death spiral whyare party activist still putting effort into electing one more insignificant DEmcorat?
