That will be at least five point wins for the Democrats. Giuliani may be able to win against a un-elected incumbent who is incompetent but given the NY Media and the collapse of the Republican Party, Patterson will probably win anyway.

People in the future are going to have to get used to the idea that the real eleciton these days are in the Democratic primary. The real election for Virginia governor will occur in a week where a few percentage of the voters will decide who will be the next governor.
