Marc, once you get older and wiser, you'll not see the need either to show off how fancy a vocabulary you may possess, or to be more verbose than needed. Smaller is better and definitely is more beautiful -- simplicity is true excellence.

If you are unsure how long to wait, I suggest instead you read the book "The Elements of Style," by Strunk and White.

I'm time-limited these days and so cannot educate the lefties as I've been able to do in the past [grin], but will only note two things here, briefly.

* Obama's choice for Supreme Court: This was an excellent choice. The person's sex and ethnicity are no big deal, merely a bonus, to normal people; the Quota Crowd are simply a bell-curve low-tail disgrace. She may hint at illegitimate judicial activism but so little that she'll probably slide by the GOP without too much bother. Choosing a judge (rather than a mere politician or a celebrity, as the chumps advocated) was a sound decision by Obama. He has done some things badly [Detroit greenie Mussolini-MITI idiocy, for example] but he has done well in office and this was a good selection by him for the Court.

* Prop 8: I wish you activists outside the mainstream (which is against same-sex marriage, often in support of civil unions), which includes the President you are often groupie-like about, would grow up someday. You range from irritating to pathetic -- too insubstantial to be newsworthy-disgusting.

Marc,

Once again, your article reads like a document dump during discovery. Was there any thought that occurred to you over the past week that you didn’t include here?

Focus.

Make a point and let the thread run with it.

Less is more.

Would you have told MLK to shut up / "end the pressure" because there were more important things that affected all Americans, not just the black ones?
